- The
Institut für Membrantechnologie GmbH is an independent company
established in 1991.
- For more than 25 years, the managing directors Dr. rer. nat. Jörg
Borgwardt and Dr. sc. agr. Wolf Wunderlich have been working in membrane
filtration research and development, process development, system designing
and plant construction for the food industry, environmental technology
as well as biotechnology.
- The company holds more than 20 patents in the fields of membrane
filtration, food industry, environmental technology and biotechnology
as well.
- From initially 4 (1991) the staff increased to 10 (2002) with about
70 % of them are working in research and development.
Our fields of activity
The company concentrates to energy-saving and nonpolluting technologies
of membrane filtration (MF, UF, NF, RO see above) and combination with
other separation and processing technologies.
